Biblia - Sväté písmo

(CPDV - Anglický - Catholic PD)

Mk 1, 1-45

1 (CPDV) The beginning of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
1 (KAT) Začiatok evanjelia Ježiša Krista, Božieho Syna.

2 (CPDV) As it has been written by the prophet Isaiah: “Behold, I send my Angel before your face, who shall prepare your way before you.
2 (KAT) Prorok Izaiáš napísal: „Hľa, posielam svojho posla pred tvojou tvárou a on ti pripraví cestu.

3 (CPDV) The voice of one crying out in the desert: Prepare the way of the Lord; make straight his paths.”
3 (KAT) Hlas volajúceho na púšti: »Pripravte cestu Pánovi, vyrovnajte mu chodníky!«“

4 (CPDV) John was in the desert, baptizing and preaching a baptism of repentance, as a remission of sins.

5 (CPDV) And there went out to him all the region of Judea and all those of Jerusalem, and they were baptized by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins.
5 (KAT) Prichádzala k nemu celá judejská krajina i všetci Jeruzalemčania. Vyznávali svoje hriechy a dávali sa mu krstiť v rieke Jordán.

6 (CPDV) And John was clothed with camel’s hair and with a leather belt around his waist. And he ate locusts and wild honey.
6 (KAT) Ján nosil odev z ťavej srsti a okolo bedier kožený opasok. Jedával kobylky a lesný med.

7 (CPDV) And he preached, saying: “A stronger one comes after me. I am not worthy to reach down and loosen the laces of his shoes.
7 (KAT) A hlásal: „Po mne prichádza mocnejší, ako som ja.

8 (CPDV) I have baptized you with water. Yet truly, he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”
8 (KAT) Ja som vás krstil vodou, ale on vás bude krstiť Duchom Svätým.“

9 (CPDV) And it happened that, in those days, Jesus arrived from Nazareth of Galilee. And he was baptized by John in the Jordan.
9 (KAT) V tých dňoch prišiel Ježiš z galilejského Nazareta a Ján ho pokrstil v Jordáne.

10 (CPDV) And immediately, upon ascending from the water, he saw the heavens opened and the Spirit, like a dove, descending, and remaining with him.

11 (CPDV) And there was a voice from heaven: “You are my beloved Son; in you I am well pleased.”
11 (KAT) A z neba zaznel hlas: „Ty si môj milovaný Syn, v tebe mám zaľúbenie.“

12 (CPDV) And immediately the Spirit prompted him into the desert.
12 (KAT) A hneď ho Duch hnal na púšť.

13 (CPDV) And he was in the desert for forty days and forty nights. And he was tempted by Satan. And he was with the wild animals, and the Angels ministered to him.
13 (KAT) Na púšti bol štyridsať dní a satan ho pokúšal. Bol medzi divou zverou a anjeli mu posluhovali.

14 (CPDV) Then, after John was handed over, Jesus went into Galilee, preaching the Gospel of the kingdom of God,
14 (KAT) Keď Jána uväznili, Ježiš prišiel do Galiley a hlásal Božie evanjelium.

15 (CPDV) and saying: “For the time has been fulfilled and the kingdom of God has drawn near. Repent and believe in the Gospel.”
15 (KAT) Hovoril: „Naplnil sa čas a priblížilo sa Božie kráľovstvo. Kajajte sa a verte evanjeliu.“

16 (CPDV) And passing by the shore of the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew, casting nets into the sea, for they were fishermen.
16 (KAT) Keď raz išiel popri Galilejskom mori, videl Šimona a Ondreja, Šimonovho brata, ako spúšťajú sieť do mora; boli totiž rybármi.

17 (CPDV) And Jesus said to them, “Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
17 (KAT) Ježiš im povedal: „Poďte za mnou a urobím z vás rybárov ľudí.“

18 (CPDV) And at once abandoning their nets, they followed him.
18 (KAT) Oni hneď zanechali siete a išli za ním.

19 (CPDV) And continuing on a little ways from there, he saw James of Zebedee and his brother John, and they were mending their nets in a boat.

20 (CPDV) And immediately he called them. And leaving behind their father Zebedee in the boat with his hired hands, they followed him.
20 (KAT) a hneď ich povolal.

21 (CPDV) And they entered into Capernaum. And entering into the synagogue promptly on the Sabbaths, he taught them.
21 (KAT) Prišli do Kafarnauma. A hneď v sobotu vošiel do synagógy a učil.

22 (CPDV) And they were astonished over his doctrine. For he was teaching them as one who has authority, and not like the scribes.

23 (CPDV) And in their synagogue, there was a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out,
23 (KAT) A práve bol v ich synagóge človek posadnutý nečistým duchom. Ten vykríkol:

24 (CPDV) saying: “What are we to you, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are: the Holy One of God.”
24 (KAT) „Čo ťa do nás, Ježiš Nazaretský? Prišiel si nás zničiť? Viem, kto si: Boží Svätý.“

25 (CPDV) And Jesus admonished him, saying, “Be silent, and depart from the man.”
25 (KAT) Ježiš mu prísne rozkázal: „Mlč a vyjdi z neho!“

26 (CPDV) And the unclean spirit, convulsing him and crying out with a loud voice, departed from him.
26 (KAT) Nečistý duch ním zalomcoval a s veľkým krikom z neho vyšiel.

27 (CPDV) And they were all so amazed that they inquired among themselves, saying: “What is this? And what is this new doctrine? For with authority he commands even the 583 unclean spirits, and they obey him.”

28 (CPDV) And his fame went out quickly, throughout the entire region of Galilee.

29 (CPDV) And soon after departing from the synagogue, they went into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.
29 (KAT) Len čo vyšli zo synagógy, vošiel s Jakubom a Jánom do Šimonovho a Ondrejovho domu.

30 (CPDV) But the mother-in-law of Simon lay ill with a fever. And at once they told him about her.
30 (KAT) Šimonova testiná ležala v horúčke. Hneď mu povedali o nej.

31 (CPDV) And drawing near to her, he raised her up, taking her by the hand. And immediately the fever left her, and she ministered to them.
31 (KAT) Pristúpil k nej, chytil ju za ruku a zdvihol. Horúčka ju opustila a ona ich obsluhovala.

32 (CPDV) Then, when evening arrived, after the sun had set, they brought to him all who had maladies and those who had demons.

33 (CPDV) And the entire city was gathered together at the door.

34 (CPDV) And he healed many who were troubled with various illnesses. And he cast out many demons, but he would not permit them to speak, because they knew him.
34 (KAT) I uzdravil mnohých, ktorých trápili rozličné neduhy, a vyhnal mnoho zlých duchov a nedovolil im hovoriť, lebo ho poznali.

35 (CPDV) And rising up very early, departing, he went out to a deserted place, and there he prayed.

36 (CPDV) And Simon, and those who were with him, followed after him.
36 (KAT) Šimon a tí, čo boli s ním, pobrali sa za ním.

37 (CPDV) And when they had found him, they said to him, “For everyone is seeking you.”
37 (KAT) Keď ho našli, povedali mu: „Všetci ťa hľadajú.“

38 (CPDV) And he said to them: “Let us go into the neighboring towns and cities, so that I may preach there also. Indeed, it was for this reason that I came.”
38 (KAT) On im odvetil: „Poďme inde, do susedných dedín, aby som aj tam kázal, veď na to som prišiel.“

39 (CPDV) And he was preaching in their synagogues and throughout all of Galilee, and casting out demons.
39 (KAT) A chodil po celej Galilei, kázal v ich synagógach a vyháňal zlých duchov.

40 (CPDV) And a leper came to him, begging him. And kneeling down, he said to him, “If you are willing, you are able to cleanse me.”
40 (KAT) Tu prišiel k nemu istý malomocný a na kolenách ho prosil: „Ak chceš, môžeš ma očistiť.“

41 (CPDV) Then Jesus, taking pity on him, reached out his hand. And touching him, he said to him: “I am willing. Be cleansed.”
41 (KAT) Ježiš sa zľutoval nad ním, vystrel ruku, dotkol sa ho a povedal mu: „Chcem, buď čistý!“

42 (CPDV) And after he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.
42 (KAT) Malomocenstvo z neho hneď zmizlo a bol čistý.

43 (CPDV) And he admonished him, and he promptly sent him away.
43 (KAT) Potom mu prísne pohrozil, ihneď ho poslal preč

44 (CPDV) And he said to him: “See to it that you tell no one. But go and show yourself to the high priest, and offer for your cleansing that which Moses instructed, as a testimony for them.”
44 (KAT) a povedal mu: „Daj si pozor a nikomu nič nehovor, ale choď, ukáž sa kňazovi a prines za svoje očistenie obetu, ktorú predpísal Mojžiš - im na svedectvo.“

45 (CPDV) But having departed, he began to preach and to disseminate the word, so that he was no longer able to openly enter a city, but had to remain outside, in deserted places. And they were gathered to him from every direction.
45 (KAT) Lenže on, sotva odišiel, začal všade hovoriť a rozchyrovať, čo sa stalo, takže Ježiš už nemohol verejne vojsť do mesta, ale zdržiaval sa vonku na opustených miestach. No i tak prichádzali k nemu ľudia zovšadiaľ.

Lv 14:1 - And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

Mk 1,1-8 - Mt 3, 1-12; Lk 3, 1-18; Jn 1, 19-28.

Mk 1,1 - Marek tu "evanjeliom" nemyslí svoj spis, ale posolstvo, dobrú zvesť, ktorú priniesol Ježiš Kristus a ktorej on sám je stredobodom.

Mk 1,2 - Mal 3, 1.

Mk 1,3 - Iz 40, 3.

Mk 1,8 - O Jánovom krste pozri poznámku k Mt 3, 6. Kristus bude krstiť "Duchom Svätým", čiže jeho krst nebude iba obrad, ale očistí človeka od hriechu a vleje doň novú životnú silu božského života.

Mk 1,9-11 - Mt 3, 13-17; Lk 3, 21-22; Jn 1, 32-34.

Mk 1,12-13 - Mt 4, 1-11; Lk 4, 1-13.

Mk 1,14-15 - Mt 4, 12-17; Lk 4, 14-15.

Mk 1,16-20 - Mt 4, 18-22; Lk 5, 1-11.

Mk 1,21-28 - Lk 4, 31-37.

Mk 1,29-34 - Mt 8, 14-17; Lk 4, 38-41.

Mk 1,35-39 - Lk 4, 42-44.

Mk 1,40-45 - Mt 8, 2-4; Lk 5, 12-16.

Mk 1,44 - Pozri poznámku k Mt 8, 4.
