1 (KJV) He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
1 (ROH) Ten, kto býva v skrýši Najvyššieho, bude nocovať v tôni Všemohúceho.
2 (KJV) I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
2 (ROH) Poviem Hospodinovi: Moje útočište a môj hrad, môj Bôh, na ktorého sa nadejem.
3 (KJV) Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
3 (ROH) Lebo on ťa vytrhne z osídla lovca, zo zhubnej nákazy morovej.
4 (KJV) He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
4 (ROH) Prikryje ťa svojimi brky, a utečieš sa pod jeho krýdla. Jeho pravda je štítom a paväzou.
5 (KJV) Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
5 (ROH) Nebudeš sa báť nočného strachu ani strely, ktorá letí vodne;
6 (KJV) Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
6 (ROH) nebudeš sa báť moru, ktorý sa vlečie v mrákote, ani nákazy, ktorá pustoší o poludní.
7 (KJV) A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
7 (ROH) Padne ich po tvojom boku tisíc a desať tisíc po tvojej pravici, ale k tebe sa to nepriblíži.
8 (KJV) Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
8 (ROH) Len svojimi očima sa podívaš na to a uvidíš odplatu bezbožných.
9 (KJV) Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
9 (ROH) Pretože hovoríš: Ty si, Hospodine, moje útočište, a že si Najvyššieho učinil svojím príbytkom,
10 (KJV) There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
10 (ROH) neprihodí sa ti nič zlého, ani sa nijaký úder nepriblíži tvojmu stánu.
11 (KJV) For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
11 (ROH) Lebo prikázal svojim anjelom o tebe, aby ťa ostríhali na všetkých tvojich cestách.
12 (KJV) They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
12 (ROH) Na rukách ťa ponesú, aby si si neuderil svojej nohy o kameň.
13 (KJV) Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
13 (ROH) Stupíš na leva a na jedovatého hada, pošliapeš ľvíča a draka.
14 (KJV) Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
14 (ROH) Pretože sa láskou vinie ku mne, vyslobodím ho; vyvýšim ho, lebo zná moje meno, hovorí Bôh.
15 (KJV) He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
15 (ROH) Bude volať na mňa, a ohlásim sa mu. Ja budem, s ním v jeho súžení, vytrhnem ho a oslávim ho.
16 (KJV) With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
16 (ROH) Nasýtim ho dlhosťou dní a dám mu vidieť svoje spasenie.

Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
Ž 124:7 - Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.

He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
Ž 57:1 - Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.
