V zime padá hojný dážď, a to aj v priľahlých susedných krajoch Arabskej púšte. Daždivé počasie hatí roľníka v práci. Musí spočinúť od svojej celoročnej obvyklej práce.
Job 37,10 - Ľad sa tvorí taktiež dychom Pánovým – doslovne by znelo: Na dýchnutie Božie sype sa ľadovec. (Dýchnutie Božie podľa súvislosti je studený severný vietor.)
Job 37,23 - Hoci je Boh aj nekonečne mocný, predsa nikdy nezneužíva svoju všemohúcnosť; preto je nemysliteľné, aby sa Boh kruto zahrával s osudom ľudí alebo iných svojich stvorení.
