Ezd 1, 1-11

1 (CPDV) In the first year of Cyrus, king of the Persians, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus, king of the Persians, so that the word of the Lord from the mouth of Jeremiah would be fulfilled. And he sent out a voice, throughout his entire kingdom, and also in writing, saying:

2 (CPDV) “Thus says Cyrus, the king of the Persians: The Lord, the God of heaven, has given all the kingdoms of the earth to me, and he himself has instructed me that I should build a house for him in Jerusalem, which is in Judea.
2 (KAT) „Takto hovorí perzský kráľ Kýros: Pán, Boh nebies, mi dal všetky kráľovstvá zeme a on mi naložil, aby som mu postavil dom v Jeruzaleme, ktorý je v Judei.

3 (CPDV) Who among you is from his entire people? May his God be with him. Let him ascend to Jerusalem, which is in Judea, and let him build the house of the Lord, the God of Israel. He is the God who is in Jerusalem.

4 (CPDV) And let all who remain, in all the places wherever they may live, assist him, each man from his place, with silver and gold, and goods and cattle, in addition to whatever they may offer voluntarily to the temple of God, which is in Jerusalem.”

5 (CPDV) And the leaders of the fathers from Judah and from Benjamin, with the priests, and the Levites, and all those whose spirit was stirred by God, rose up, so that they might ascend to build the temple of the Lord, which was in Jerusalem.

6 (CPDV) And all those who were all around assisted their hands with vessels of silver and gold, with goods and cattle, with equipment, in addition to whatever they had offered freely.
6 (KAT) Všetci navôkol ich napomáhali striebornými nádobami, zlatom, imaním, dobytkom a drahocennosťami okrem všetkého toho, čo darovali dobrovoľne.

7 (CPDV) Likewise, king Cyrus offered the vessels of the temple of the Lord, which Nebuchadnezzar had taken from Jerusalem and had placed in the temple of his god.

8 (CPDV) Now Cyrus, king of Persia, offered these by the hand of Mithredath, the son of the treasurer, and he counted these out to Sheshbazzar, the leader of Judah.
8 (KAT) Perzský kráľ Kýros ich vydal prostredníctvom pokladníka Mitridata a ten ich odpočítal júdskemu kniežaťu Sasabasárovi.

9 (CPDV) And this is their number: thirty gold bowls, one thousand silver bowls, twenty-nine knives, thirty gold cups,
9 (KAT) A toto je ich počet: Zlatých mís - tridsať, strieborných mís - tisíc, nožov - dvadsaťdeväť,

10 (CPDV) four hundred ten of a second kind of silver cup, one thousand other vessels.
10 (KAT) zlatých čiaš - tridsať, podradnejších strieborných čiaš - štyristodesať, iných nádob - tisíc;

11 (CPDV) All the vessels of gold and silver were five thousand four hundred. Sheshbazzar brought all these, with those who ascended from the transmigration of Babylon, into Jerusalem.
11 (KAT) všetkých nádob zo zlata a striebra - päťtisícštyristo.

Ezd 1, 1-11

Verš 8
Now Cyrus, king of Persia, offered these by the hand of Mithredath, the son of the treasurer, and he counted these out to Sheshbazzar, the leader of Judah.
Ezd 5:14 - And now the vessels of gold and silver from the temple of God, which Nebuchadnezzar had taken from the temple that was in Jerusalem, and which he had carried away to the temple of Babylon, king Cyrus brought out of the temple of Babylon, and they were given to one called Sheshbazzar, whom he also appointed as governor.

Verš 1
In the first year of Cyrus, king of the Persians, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus, king of the Persians, so that the word of the Lord from the mouth of Jeremiah would be fulfilled. And he sent out a voice, throughout his entire kingdom, and also in writing, saying:
2Krn 36:22 - Then, in the first year of Cyrus, the king of the Persians, in order to fulfill the word of the Lord, which he had spoken by the mouth of Jeremiah, the Lord stirred up the heart of Cyrus, the king of the Persians, who commanded this to be proclaimed throughout his entire kingdom, and also in writing, saying:
Jer 25:12 - And when the seventy years have been completed, I will visit their iniquity upon the king of Babylon, and upon that nation, and upon the land of the Chaldeans, says the Lord. And I will set it in continual desolations.
Jer 29:10 - For thus says the Lord: When the seventy years will begin to be completed in Babylon, I will visit you. And I will raise up over you my good word, so that I may lead you back to this place.

Verš 7
Likewise, king Cyrus offered the vessels of the temple of the Lord, which Nebuchadnezzar had taken from Jerusalem and had placed in the temple of his god.
2Kr 24:13 - And he took from there all the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the house of the king. And he cut up all the gold vessels which Solomon, the king of Israel, had made for the temple of the Lord, in accord with the word of the Lord.
2Krn 36:7 - And to there, he also took away the vessels of the Lord, and he placed them in his temple.

Ezd 1,1 - Nakoľko je tu reč o Židoch, čo žili v babylonskom zajatí, je Kýrov prvý rok ten, v ktorom prevzal vládu nad Babylóniou, t. j. rok 538 pr. Kr. Nad Perziou vládol od r. 558 pr. Kr. – Pre Jeremiášove predpovede porov. Jer 25,12; 29,10.

Ezd 1,2 - Kýros uznával a uctieval Boha Židov.

Obe mienky majú svoje výhody i nevýhody. Pravdepodobnejšia sa však vidí tá, čo Sasabasára nestotožňuje so Zorobábelom.
