Gn 22, 1-24

1 (CPDV) After these things occurred, God tested Abraham, and he said to him, “Abraham, Abraham.” And he answered, “Here I am.”
1 (KAT) Po týchto udalostiach Boh skúšal Abraháma a povedal mu: „Abrahám!“ On odpovedal: „Tu som.“

2 (CPDV) He said to him: “Take your only begotten son Isaac, whom you love, and go into the land of vision. And there you shall offer him as a holocaust upon one of the mountains, which I will show to you.”
2 (KAT) A on hovoril: „Vezmi svojho syna, svojho jediného syna Izáka, ktorého miluješ, a choď do krajiny »Morja«!

3 (CPDV) And so Abraham, getting up in the night, harnessed his donkey, taking with him two youths, and his son Isaac. And when he had cut wood for the holocaust, he traveled toward the place, as God had instructed him.
3 (KAT) Abrahám vstal včasráno, osedlal osla, zobral so sebou dvoch svojich sluhov a svojho syna Izáka a narúbal dreva na zápalnú obetu.

4 (CPDV) Then, on the third day, lifting up his eyes, he saw the place at a distance.
4 (KAT) Na tretí deň, keď Abrahám zdvihol oči, zďaleka uvidel to miesto.

5 (CPDV) And he said to his servants: “Wait here with the donkey. I and the boy will hurry further ahead to that place. After we have worshipped, will return to you.”
5 (KAT) Tu Abrahám povedal svojim sluhom: „Vy ostaňte tu s oslom; ja a chlapec pôjdeme až tamto. Pomodlíme sa a vrátime sa k vám.“

6 (CPDV) He also took the wood for the holocaust, and he imposed it upon his son Isaac. And he himself carried in his hands fire and a sword. And as the two continued on together,
6 (KAT) Potom vzal Abrahám drevo na zápalnú obetu a naložil ho na svojho syna Izáka; sám vzal oheň a nôž a takto šli obaja spolu.

7 (CPDV) Isaac said to his father, “My father.” And he answered, “What do you want, son?” “Behold,” he said, “fire and wood. Where is the victim for the holocaust?”
7 (KAT) Tu povedal Izák svojmu otcovi Abrahámovi: „Otče!“ On mu odvetil: „Hľa, tu som, syn môj!“ A on mu povedal: „Drevo a oheň na zápalnú obetu je tu, kde však je baránok na zápalnú obetu?“

8 (CPDV) But Abraham said, “God himself will provide the victim for the holocaust, my son.” Thus they continued on together.
8 (KAT) Abrahám mu odvetil: „Boh si už obstará baránka na zápalnú obetu, syn môj.“ A išli obaja spolu ďalej.

9 (CPDV) And they came to the place that God had shown to him. There he built an altar, and he set the wood in order upon it. And when he had bound his son Isaac, he laid him on the altar upon the pile of wood.

10 (CPDV) And he reached out his hand and took hold of the sword, in order to sacrifice his son.
10 (KAT) Potom Abrahám siahol rukou a vzal nôž, aby zabil svojho syna.

11 (CPDV) And behold, an Angel of the Lord called out from heaven, saying, “Abraham, Abraham.” And he answered, “Here I am.”
11 (KAT) Vtedy naň zavolal Pánov anjel z neba: „Abrahám, Abrahám!“ On odpovedal: „Tu som.“

12 (CPDV) And he said to him, “Do not extend your hand over the boy, and do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, since you have not spared your only begotten son for my sake.”
12 (KAT) On mu povedal: „Nevystieraj ruku na chlapca a neubližuj mu! Teraz som totiž poznal, že sa bojíš Boha a neušetril si svojho jediného syna kvôli mne.“

13 (CPDV) Abraham lifted up his eyes, and he saw behind his back a ram among the thorns, caught by the horns, which he took and offered as a holocaust, instead of his son.

14 (CPDV) And he called the name of that place: ‘The Lord Sees.’ Thus, even to this day, it is said: ‘On the mountain, the Lord will see.’

15 (CPDV) Then the Angel of the Lord called out to Abraham a second time from heaven, saying:

16 (CPDV) “By my own self, I have sworn, says the Lord. Because you have done this thing, and have not spared your only begotten son for my sake,
16 (KAT) „Na seba samého prisahám - to je Pánov výrok: Pretože si toto urobil a svojho syna, svojho jediného si neušetril predo mnou,

17 (CPDV) I will bless you, and I will multiply your offspring like the stars of heaven, and like the sand which is on the seashore. Your offspring will possess the gates of their enemies.
17 (KAT) zahrniem ťa požehnaním a prenáramne rozmnožím tvoje potomstvo.

18 (CPDV) And in your offspring, all the nations of the earth will be blessed, because you obeyed my voice.”
18 (KAT) a v tvojom potomstve budú požehnané všetky národy zeme preto, že si poslúchol môj hlas.“

19 (CPDV) Abraham returned to his servants, and they went to Beersheba together, and he lived there.
19 (KAT) Potom sa Abrahám vrátil k svojim sluhom a spolu šli do Bersaby. A Abrahám ostal bývať v Bersabe.

20 (CPDV) After these things occurred, it was reported to Abraham that Milcah, likewise, had borne sons for his brother Nahor:

21 (CPDV) Uz, the firstborn, and Buz, his brother, and Kemuel, the father of the Syrians,
21 (KAT) prvorodeného Husa, jeho brata Buza a Kamuela, otca Aramejčanov,

22 (CPDV) and Chesed, and Hazo, likewise Pildash, and Jidlaph,
22 (KAT) Kaseda, Azaua, Feldasa, Jedlafa a

23 (CPDV) as well as Bethuel, of whom was born Rebekah. These eight Milcah bore for Nahor, the brother of Abraham.
23 (KAT) Batuela, ktorému sa narodila Rebeka. Týchto osem porodila Abrahámovmu bratovi Nachorovi Melcha.

24 (CPDV) In truth, his concubine, named Reumah, bore Tebah, and Gaham, and Tahash, and Maacah.
24 (KAT) Aj jeho vedľajšia žena, menom Roma, porodila: Tabého, Gahama, Tahasa a Maácha.

Gn 22, 1-24

Heb 6:13 - For God, in making promises to Abraham, swore by himself, (because he had no one greater by whom he might swear),

Verš 9
And they came to the place that God had shown to him. There he built an altar, and he set the wood in order upon it. And when he had bound his son Isaac, he laid him on the altar upon the pile of wood.
Jak 2:21 - Was not our father Abraham justified by means of works, by offering his son Isaac upon the altar?

Verš 2
He said to him: “Take your only begotten son Isaac, whom you love, and go into the land of vision. And there you shall offer him as a holocaust upon one of the mountains, which I will show to you.”
Heb 11:17 - By faith, Abraham, when he was tested, offered Isaac, so that he who had received the promises was offering up his only son.

Verš 18
And in your offspring, all the nations of the earth will be blessed, because you obeyed my voice.”
Gn 12:3 - I will bless those who bless you, and curse those who curse you, and in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.”
Gn 18:18 - since he will become a great and very robust nation, and in him all the nations of the earth will be blessed?
Gn 26:4 - And I will multiply your offspring like the stars of heaven. And I will give to your posterity all these regions. And in your offspring all the nations of the earth will be blessed,
Sk 3:25 - You are sons of the prophets and of the testament which God has appointed for our fathers, saying to Abraham: ‘And by your offspring all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’
Gal 3:8 - Thus Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, foretold to Abraham: “All nations shall be blessed in you.”

Verš 17
I will bless you, and I will multiply your offspring like the stars of heaven, and like the sand which is on the seashore. Your offspring will possess the gates of their enemies.
Gn 24:60 - wishing prosperity for their sister, by saying: “You are our sister. May you increase to thousands of thousands. And may your offspring possess the gates of their enemies.”

Abrahám vykonal v duchu obetu svojho syna.
