Lk 5, 1-39

1 And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word (o. logos) of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret, 2 And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets. 3 And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship. 4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. 5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at your word (o. rhema) I will let down the net. 6 And when they had this done, they enclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. 7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink. 8 "When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord. " 9 For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken: 10 "And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth you shall catch men. " 11 And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him. 12 And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if you will, you can make me clean. 13 And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be you clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him. 14 And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and show yourself to the priest, and offer for your cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them. 15 But so much the more went there a fame (o. logos) abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities. 16 And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed. 17 And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them. 18 And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him. 19 And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus. 20 And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, your sins are forgiven you. 21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone? 22 But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason all of you in your hearts? 23 "Whether is easier, to say, Your sins be forgiven you; or to say, Rise up and walk? " 24 But that all of you may know that the Son of man has power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto you, Arise, and take up your couch, and go into your house. 25 And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God. 26 And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day. 27 And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me. 28 And he left all, rose up, and followed him. 29 And Levi made him a great feast in his own house: and there was a great company of publicans and of others that sat down with them. 30 But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do all of you eat and drink with publicans and sinners? 31 "And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. " 32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. 33 "And they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the Pharisees; but your eat and drink? " 34 And he said unto them, Can all of you make the children of the bride-chamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? 35 But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days. 36 "And he spoke also a parable unto them; No man puts a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new makes a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agrees not with the old. " 37 "And no man puts new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish. " 38 "But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved. " 39 No man also having drunk old wine immediately desires new: for he says, The old is better.

Verš 32

I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Mt 9:13 - But go all of you and learn what that means, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Lk 19:10 - For the Son of man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.

1Tim 1:15 - "This is a faithful saying, (o. logos) and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. "

And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word (o. logos) of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,

Mt 13:2 - "And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore. "

Mk 4:1 - "And he began again to teach by the sea side: and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a ship, and sat in the sea; and the whole multitude was by the sea on the land. "

Verš 34

And he said unto them, Can all of you make the children of the bride-chamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them?

Iz 62:5 - For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you: and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you.

2Kor 11:2 - For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

Verš 4

Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

Jn 21:6 - And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and all of you shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

Verš 37

"And no man puts new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish. "

Mt 9:17 - Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runs out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.

Mk 2:22 - And no man puts new wine into old bottles: else the new wine does burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be ruined: but new wine must be put into new bottles.

Verš 33

"And they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the Pharisees; but your eat and drink? "

Mt 9:14 - Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast often, but your disciples fast not?

Verš 10

"And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth you shall catch men. "

Jer 16:16 - "Behold, I will send for many fishers, says the LORD, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks. "

Ez 47:9 - "And it shall come to pass, that every thing that lives, which moves, anywhere the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live where the river comes. "

Mt 4:19 - And he says unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

Mk 1:17 - And Jesus said unto them, Come all of you after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.

And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.

Mt 4:20 - And they immediately left their nets, and followed him.

Mt 19:27 - "Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed you; what shall we have therefore? "

Mk 10:28 - Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed you.

Verš 12

And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if you will, you can make me clean.

Mt 8:2 - And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if you will, you can make me clean.

Mk 1:40 - And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If you will, you can make me clean.

Verš 14

And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and show yourself to the priest, and offer for your cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

Lv 13:2 - "When a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a rising, a scab, or bright spot, and it be in the skin of his flesh like the plague of leprosy; then he shall be brought unto Aaron the priest, or unto one of his sons the priests: "

Lv 14:2 - This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought unto the priest:

Mt 8:4 - "And Jesus says unto him, See you tell no man; but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them. "

Verš 18

And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him.

Mt 9:1 - And he entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city.

Mk 2:3 - And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.

Sk 9:33 - And there he found a certain man named Aeneas, which had kept his bed eight years, and was sick of the palsy.

Verš 21

And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?

Ž 32:5 - "I acknowledge my sin unto you, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah. "

Iz 43:25 - I, even I, am he that blots out your transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember your sins.

Verš 27

And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me.

Mt 9:9 - And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he says unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.

Mk 2:14 - And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.

Verš 29

And Levi made him a great feast in his own house: and there was a great company of publicans and of others that sat down with them.

Mt 9:10 - And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at food in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.

Mk 2:15 - And it came to pass, that, as Jesus sat at food in his house, many publicans and sinners sat also together with Jesus and his disciples: for there were many, and they followed him.

Lk 15:1 - Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners in order to hear him.

Lk 5,1-11 - Tento zázračný rybolov nie je totožný s tým, o ktorom hovorí Ján (21, 1-8) po Kristovom zmŕtvychvstaní, hoci sa navzájom podobajú.
