Oz 3, 1-5

1 And the Lord said to me: “Go yet again, and love a woman, beloved by a friend, yet an adulteress, for so does the Lord love the sons of Israel, yet they look to strange gods, and love the seeds of grapes.” 2 And I contracted her to me for fifteen silver coins, and for a basket of barley, and half a basket of barley. 3 And I said to her, “You will wait for me for many days. You will not commit fornication, and you will not be with a man. But I also will wait for you.” 4 For the sons of Israel will sit for many days without a king, and without a leader, and without sacrifice, and without altar, and without priestly vestments, and without religious symbols. 5 And after this, the sons of Israel will return, and they will seek the Lord their God and David their king, and they will be terrified by the Lord and by his goodness, in the last days. 510

Oz 3, 1-5

Verš 3
And I said to her, “You will wait for me for many days. You will not commit fornication, and you will not be with a man. But I also will wait for you.”
Dt 21:11 - you see among the number of the captives a beautiful woman, and you love her, and you are willing to have her as a wife:

Verš 4
For the sons of Israel will sit for many days without a king, and without a leader, and without sacrifice, and without altar, and without priestly vestments, and without religious symbols.
Oz 10:3 - For now they will say, “We have no king. For we do not fear the Lord. And what would a king do for us?”

Verš 5
And after this, the sons of Israel will return, and they will seek the Lord their God and David their king, and they will be terrified by the Lord and by his goodness, in the last days. 510
Jer 30:9 - Instead, they will serve the Lord their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up for them.
Ez 34:23 - And I will raise up over them ONE SHEPHERD, who will feed them, my servant David. He himself will feed them, and he will be their shepherd.
Ez 37:22 - And I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel, and one king will be ruler over all. And they will no longer be two nations, nor will they be divided any more into two kingdoms.
Iz 2:2 - And in the last days, the mountain of the house of the Lord will be prepared at the summit of the mountains, and it will be exalted above the hills, and all the nations shall flow to it.
Mi 4:1 - And this shall be: In the last days, the mountain of the house of the Lord will be prepared at the top of the mountains and high above the hills. And the people will flow to it.

Oz 3,1 - Novým symbolickým manželstvom má prorok zasa zvýrazňovať nevernosť Izraela. "Koláče" patrili k modlárstvu (porov. Jer 7,18; 44,19).

Obetami a veľkňazským rúchom efódom sa označuje úcta pravého Boha, pomníkmi (masébami, pozri pozn. k 1 Sam 7,3–4) a terafimami (pozri pozn. k Ez 21,26) úcta modiel.

Oz 3,5 - Príslušníci severnej, Izraelskej ríše, ku ktorým hovoril Ozeáš, neuznávali kráľov z rodu Dávidovho. V dobe spásy uznajú veľkého Dávidovho syna, Mesiáša.
