Ž 147, 1-9

1 Alleluia. Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem. Praise your God, O Zion. 2 For he has reinforced the bars of your gates. He has blessed your sons within you. 3 He has stationed peace at your borders, and he has satisfied you with the fat of the grain. 4 He sends forth his eloquence to the earth. His word runs swiftly. 5 He provides snow like wool. He strews clouds like ashes. 6 He sends his ice crystals like morsels. Who can stand firm before the face of 344 his cold? 7 He will send forth his word, and it will melt them. His Spirit will breathe out, and the waters will flow. 8 He announces his word to Jacob, his justices and his judgments to Israel. 9 He has not done so much for every nation, and he has not made his judgments manifest to them. Alleluia.

Ž 147, 1-9

Verš 1
Alleluia. Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem. Praise your God, O Zion.
Ž 33:1 - To David, when he changed his appearance in the sight of Abimelech, and so he dismissed him, and he went away.

Verš 3
He has stationed peace at your borders, and he has satisfied you with the fat of the grain.
Ex 15:26 - saying: “If you will listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in his sight, and obey his commands, and keep all his precepts, I will not bring upon you any of the distress that I imposed on Egypt. For I am the Lord, your healer.”
Jób 5:18 - For he wounds and he cures; he strikes and his hands will heal.

Verš 4
He sends forth his eloquence to the earth. His word runs swiftly.
Iz 40:26 - Lift up your eyes on high, and see who has created these things. He leads forth their army by number, and he calls them all by name. Because of the fullness of his strength and robustness and virtue, not one of them was left behind.

Verš 8
He announces his word to Jacob, his justices and his judgments to Israel.
Oz 2:21 - And this will happen in that day: I will listen closely,” says the Lord. “I will hear the heavens, and they will hear the earth.
Jób 38:26 - so that it would rain on the earth far from man, in the wilderness where no mortal lingers,
Ž 104:14 - he allowed no man to harm them, and he reproved kings on their behalf.

Verš 15
Ž 33:9 - Taste and see that the Lord is sweet. Blessed is the man who hopes in him.

Verš 20
Sk 14:16 - But certainly, he did not leave himself without testimony, doing good from heaven, giving rains and fruitful seasons, filling their hearts with food and gladness.”
