Ž 137, 1-9

1 By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion. 2 We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof. 3 "For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us delight, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion. " 4 How shall we sing the LORD's song in a strange land? 5 If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning. 6 "If I do not remember you, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy. " 7 "Remember, O LORD, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Demolish it, demolish it, even to the foundation thereof. " 8 "O daughter of Babylon, who are to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewards you as you have served us. " 9 Happy shall he be, that takes and dashes your little ones against the stones.

Ž 137, 1-9

Verš 8
"O daughter of Babylon, who are to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewards you as you have served us. "
Jer 50:15 - "Shout against her round about: she has given her hand: her foundations are fallen, her walls are thrown down: for it is the vengeance of the LORD: take vengeance upon her; as she has done, do unto her. "
Jer 50:29 - "Call together the archers against Babylon: all you that bend the bow, camp against it round about; let none thereof escape: recompense her according to her work; according to all that she has done, do unto her: for she has been proud against the LORD, against the Holy One of Israel. "
Zjv 18:6 - Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she has filled fill to her double.

Verš 3
"For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us delight, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion. "
Ž 79:1 - "O god, the heathen are come into your inheritance; your holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem on heaps. "

Verš 7
"Remember, O LORD, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Demolish it, demolish it, even to the foundation thereof. "
Jer 49:7 - "Concerning Edom, thus says the LORD of hosts; Is wisdom no more in Teman? is counsel perished from the prudent? is their wisdom vanished? "
Ez 25:12 - "Thus says the Lord GOD; Because that Edom has dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them; "
