Jób 8, 1-22

1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said, 2 How long wilt thou speak these things? and how long shall the words of thy mouth be like a strong wind? 3 Doth God pervert judgment? or doth the Almighty pervert justice? 4 If thy children have sinned against him, and he have cast them away for their transgression; 5 If thou wouldest seek unto God betimes, and make thy supplication to the Almighty; 6 If thou wert pure and upright; surely now he would awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous. 7 Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase. 8 For inquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers: 9 (For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow:) 10 Shall not they teach thee, and tell thee, and utter words out of their heart? 11 Can the rush grow up without mire? can the flag grow without water? 12 Whilst it is yet in his greenness, and not cut down, it withereth before any other herb. 13 So are the paths of all that forget God; and the hypocrite's hope shall perish: 14 Whose hope shall be cut off, and whose trust shall be a spider's web. 15 He shall lean upon his house, but it shall not stand: he shall hold it fast, but it shall not endure. 16 He is green before the sun, and his branch shooteth forth in his garden. 17 His roots are wrapped about the heap, and seeth the place of stones. 18 If he destroy him from his place, then it shall deny him, saying, I have not seen thee. 19 Behold, this is the joy of his way, and out of the earth shall others grow. 20 Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers: 21 Till he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing. 22 They that hate thee shall be clothed with shame; and the dwelling place of the wicked shall come to nought.

Jób 8, 1-22

Verš 3
Doth God pervert judgment? or doth the Almighty pervert justice?
Dt 32:4 - He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.
2Krn 19:7 - Wherefore now let the fear of the LORD be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the LORD our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.
Dan 9:14 - Therefore hath the LORD watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the LORD our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice.

Verš 5
If thou wouldest seek unto God betimes, and make thy supplication to the Almighty;
Jób 22:23 - If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles.

Verš 8
For inquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers:
Dt 4:32 - For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it?

Verš 9
(For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow:)
Gn 47:9 - And Jacob said unto Pharaoh, The days of the years of my pilgrimage are an hundred and thirty years: few and evil have the days of the years of my life been, and have not attained unto the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage.
1Krn 29:15 - For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.
Jób 7:5 - My flesh is clothed with worms and clods of dust; my skin is broken, and become loathsome.
Ž 39:12 - Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with thee, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were.
Ž 144:4 - Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away.
Ž 102:11 - My days are like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass.
Ž 144:4 - Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away.

Verš 12
Whilst it is yet in his greenness, and not cut down, it withereth before any other herb.
Ž 129:6 - Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up:
Jer 17:6 - For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.

Verš 13
So are the paths of all that forget God; and the hypocrite's hope shall perish:
Jób 11:20 - But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape, and their hope shall be as the giving up of the ghost.
Jób 18:14 - His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors.
Ž 112:10 - The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
Prís 10:28 - The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.
