Dt 27, 1-26

1 (KJV) And Moses with the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandments which I command you this day.
1 (ROH) A Mojžiš prikázal i so staršími Izraelovými ľudu povediac: Ostríhať budete všetky prikázania, ktoré vám ja prikazujem dnes,

2 (KJV) And it shall be on the day when ye shall pass over Jordan unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, that thou shalt set thee up great stones, and plaister them with plaister:
2 (ROH) a bude toho dňa, ktorého prejdete cez Jordán do zeme, ktorú ti dá Hospodin, tvoj Bôh, že si postavíš veľké kamene a olíčiš ich vápnom.

3 (KJV) And thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou art passed over, that thou mayest go in unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, a land that floweth with milk and honey; as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee.
3 (ROH) Napíšeš na ne všetky slová tohoto zákona, keď prejdeš na druhú stranu, aby si vošiel do zeme, ktorú ti dá Hospodin, tvoj Bôh, do zeme, ktorá tečie mliekom a medom, tak ako ti hovoril Hospodin, Bôh tvojich otcov.

4 (KJV) Therefore it shall be when ye be gone over Jordan, that ye shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaister them with plaister.
4 (ROH) A bude, keď prejdete cez Jordán, že postavíte tie kamene, o ktorých vám ja prikazujem dnes, na vrchu Ébale a olíčiš ich vápnom

5 (KJV) And there shalt thou build an altar unto the LORD thy God, an altar of stones: thou shalt not lift up any iron tool upon them.
5 (ROH) a vystavíš tam oltár Hospodinovi, svojmu Bohu, oltár z kameňov; nezaženieš sa nad nimi železom.

6 (KJV) Thou shalt build the altar of the LORD thy God of whole stones: and thou shalt offer burnt offerings thereon unto the LORD thy God:
6 (ROH) Z neotesaných kameňov vystavíš oltár Hospodina, svojho Boha, a budeš na ňom obetovať zápalné obeti Hospodinovi, svojmu Bohu.

7 (KJV) And thou shalt offer peace offerings, and shalt eat there, and rejoice before the LORD thy God.
7 (ROH) A zabíjajúc obetovať budeš pokojné obeti a budeš tam jesť a budeš sa radovať pred Hospodinom, svojím Bohom.

8 (KJV) And thou shalt write upon the stones all the words of this law very plainly.
8 (ROH) A napíšeš na kamene všetky slová tohoto zákona, zreteľne a dobre.

9 (KJV) And Moses and the priests the Levites spake unto all Israel, saying, Take heed, and hearken, O Israel; this day thou art become the people of the LORD thy God.
9 (ROH) A Mojžiš hovoril i kňazi Levitovia všetkému Izraelovi a vravel; Mlč a počuj, Izraelu, tohoto dňa si sa stal ľudom Hospodinovi, svojmu Bohu;

10 (KJV) Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of the LORD thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day.
10 (ROH) preto budeš počúvať na hlas Hospodina, svojho Boha, a budeš činiť jeho prikázania a jeho ustanovenia, ktoré ti ja prikazujem dnes.

11 (KJV) And Moses charged the people the same day, saying,
11 (ROH) A Mojžiš prikázal ľudu toho dňa a riekol:

12 (KJV) These shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people, when ye are come over Jordan; Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin:
12 (ROH) Títo budú stáť, aby žehnali ľud, na vrchu Gerizíme, keď prejdete cez Jordán; Simeon, Lévi, Júda, Izachár, Jozef a Benjamin.

13 (KJV) And these shall stand upon mount Ebal to curse; Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.
13 (ROH) A títo sa postavia na vrchu Ébale, aby kliali; Rúben, Gád, Aser, Zabulon, Dán a Naftali.

14 (KJV) And the Levites shall speak, and say unto all the men of Israel with a loud voice,
14 (ROH) A Leviti odpovedia a rieknu všetkým mužom Izraelovým povýšeným hlasom:

15 (KJV) Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image, an abomination unto the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth it in a secret place. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.
15 (ROH) Zlorečený človek, ktorý by spravil rytinu alebo sliatinu nejakej modly, ohavnosť Hospodina, dielo rúk remeselníka, a položil niekde na skryté miesto. A všetok ľud odpovie a riekne: Ameň.

16 (KJV) Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.
16 (ROH) Zlorečený, kto by si zľahčil svojho otca alebo svoju mať. A všetok ľud povie; Ameň.

17 (KJV) Cursed be he that removeth his neighbour's landmark. And all the people shall say, Amen.
17 (ROH) Zlorečený, kto by preniesol medzník svojho blížneho. A všetok ľud povie: Ameň.

18 (KJV) Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen.
18 (ROH) Zlorečený, kto by zaviedol slepého, aby zablúdil na ceste. A všetok ľud povie: Ameň.

19 (KJV) Cursed be he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen.
19 (ROH) Zlorečený, kto by prevrátil súd pohostína, siroty alebo vdovy. A všetok ľud povie: Ameň.

20 (KJV) Cursed be he that lieth with his father's wife; because he uncovereth his father's skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen.
20 (ROH) Zlorečený, kto by ležal so ženou svojho otca, pretože odkryl krýdlo odevu svojho otca. A všetok ľud povie: Ameň.

21 (KJV) Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, Amen.
21 (ROH) Zlorečený, kto by ležal s nejakým hovädom, nech by bolo jakékoľvek. A všetok ľud povie: Ameň.

22 (KJV) Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.
22 (ROH) Zlorečený, kto by ležal so svojou sestrou, s dcérou svojho otca alebo s dcérou svojej materi. A všetok ľud povie: Ameň.

23 (KJV) Cursed be he that lieth with his mother in law. And all the people shall say, Amen.
23 (ROH) Zlorečený, kto by ležal so svojou svokrou. A všetok ľud povie: Ameň.

24 (KJV) Cursed be he that smiteth his neighbour secretly. And all the people shall say, Amen.
24 (ROH) Zlorečený, kto by zabil alebo nabil svojho blížneho v skrytosti. A všetok ľud povie: Ameň.

25 (KJV) Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.
25 (ROH) Zlorečený, kto by vzal úplatok, aby zabil nevinného človeka. A všetok ľud povie: Ameň.

26 (KJV) Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.
26 (ROH) Zlorečený, kto by nepostavil slov tohoto zákona, aby ich činil. A všetok ľud povie: Ameň.

Verš 2

And it shall be on the day when ye shall pass over Jordan unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, that thou shalt set thee up great stones, and plaister them with plaister:

Joz 4:1 - And it came to pass, when all the people were clean passed over Jordan, that the LORD spake unto Joshua, saying,

Verš 26

Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.

Gal 3:10 - For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

Verš 5

And there shalt thou build an altar unto the LORD thy God, an altar of stones: thou shalt not lift up any iron tool upon them.

Ex 20:25 - And if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone: for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it.

Joz 8:31 - As Moses the servant of the LORD commanded the children of Israel, as it is written in the book of the law of Moses, an altar of whole stones, over which no man hath lift up any iron: and they offered thereon burnt offerings unto the LORD, and sacrificed peace offerings.

Dt 27,3 - Slová tohto zákona – nie je isté, o aký rozsah zákona ide. Autori sú rozličných mienok; jedni myslia, že ide o celý Pentateuch, druhí tvrdia, že autor hovorí iba o Deuteronómiu atď. Joz. Flávius sa domnieval, že "zákon" na tomto mieste sú len "kliatby" a "požehnania", ktoré nasledujú (vv. 16–26).

Dt 27,5 - Oltár pri obnove zmluvy v zasľúbenej zemi má byť taký, aký mali pri vrchu Sinaj, keď Pán po prvý raz uzavrel s Izraelitmi zmluvu Ex 20,25.

Dt 27,15-26 - Dvanásť kliatieb vo všeobecnosti zahrňuje porušenie celého zákona. Niektoré kliatby týkajú sa prestúpenia príkazov Desatora. Kliatbami Mojžiš zavrhuje hriech a robí výstrahu tým, čo by zanedbali zákonné predpisy. Takto zákon stal sa kliatbou, ak ho niekto nezachoval (Gal 3,13).
