Biblia - Sväté písmo

(UKJV - Anglický - Updated King James)

Gal 1, 1-24

1 (UKJV) "Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;) "

2 (UKJV) And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:
2 (ROH) a všetci bratia, ktorí sú so mnou, sborom Galácie:

3 (UKJV) Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,
3 (ROH) milosť vám a pokoj od Boha Otca a od nášho Pána Ježiša Krista,

4 (UKJV) Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
4 (ROH) ktorý dal sám seba za naše hriechy, aby nás vytrhol z prítomného veku zlého podľa vôle Boha a nášho Otca,

5 (UKJV) To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
5 (ROH) ktorému sláva na veky vekov. Ameň.

6 (UKJV) I marvel that all of you are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

7 (UKJV) "Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. "

8 (UKJV) But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

9 (UKJV) As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that all of you have received, let him be accursed.

10 (UKJV) For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
10 (ROH) Lebo či teraz nahováram ľudí a či Boha? Alebo či hľadám ľúbiť sa ľuďom? Lebo ak by mi ešte išlo o to, aby som sa ľúbil ľuďom, nebol by som sluhom Kristovým.

11 (UKJV) But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
11 (ROH) Ale vám oznamujem, bratia, že evanjelium, ktoré som ja zvestoval, nie je podľa človeka;

12 (UKJV) For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
12 (ROH) lebo som ho ani ja neprijal od človeka ani ma nemu nenaučil človek, ale som ho dostal skrze zjavenie Ježiša Krista.

13 (UKJV) For all of you have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:
13 (ROH) Lebo veď ste počuli o mojom živote, a čo som kedysi robil v židovstve, že som nad mieru prenasledoval cirkev Božiu a hubil som ju

14 (UKJV) And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.

15 (UKJV) But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,

16 (UKJV) "To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: "

17 (UKJV) "Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus. "
17 (ROH) ani som neodišiel hore do Jeruzalema k tým, ktorí boli predo mnou apoštolmi, ale som odišiel do Arábie a zase som sa navrátil do Damašku.

18 (UKJV) Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.
18 (ROH) Potom po troch rokoch som odišiel hore do Jeruzalema poznať Kéfaša, Petra, a pobudol som u neho pätnásť dní.

19 (UKJV) But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother.
19 (ROH) A iného z apoštolov som nevidel okrem Jakoba, brata Pánovho.

20 (UKJV) Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not.
20 (ROH) A čo vám píšem, hľa píšem pred Bohom, že neluhám.

21 (UKJV) "Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia; "
21 (ROH) Potom som prišiel do krajov Sýrie a Cilície.

22 (UKJV) And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ:

23 (UKJV) But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preaches the faith which once he destroyed.
23 (ROH) iba toľko, čo slýchali, že vraj ten, ktorý nás kedysi prenasledoval, zvestuje teraz vieru, ktorú predtým hubil.

24 (UKJV) And they glorified God in me.
24 (ROH) A oslavovali za mňa Boha.

For all of you have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:
Sk 8:3 - As for Saul, he made havoc of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.

2Tim 4:1 - "I charge you therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; "

Sk 12, 17).

Gal 1,22 - Porov. Sk 9, 26.
