1 (CPDV) Unto the end. For the wine and oil presses. A Psalm of Asaph himself.
1 (ROH) Náčelníkovi speváckeho sboru. Na nápev: Ľalie. Svedoctvo. Žalm Azafov.

2 (CPDV) Exult before God our helper. Sing joyfully to the God of Jacob.
2 (ROH) Pastieru Izraelov, prosíme, nakloň svoje ucho! Ty, ktorý šetrne vodíš Jozefa jako stádo, ktorý tróniš na cherubínoch, zaskvej sa!

3 (CPDV) Take up a psalm, and bring forth the timbrel: a pleasing Psalter with stringed instruments.
3 (ROH) Pred Efraimom, Benjaminom a Manassesom zobuď svoju hrdinskú silu a poď nám na záchranu!

4 (CPDV) Sound the trumpet at the new moon, on the noteworthy day of your solemnity,
4 (ROH) Ó, Bože, navráť nás a daj svietiť svojej tvári, a budeme spasení!

5 (CPDV) for it is a precept in Israel and a judgment for the God of Jacob.
5 (ROH) Hospodine, Bože Zástupov, až dokedy budeš horieť hnevom na modlitbu svojho ľudu?

6 (CPDV) He set it as a testimony with Joseph, when he went out of the land of Egypt. He heard a tongue that he did not know.
6 (ROH) Kŕmiš ich chlebom sĺz a napájaš ich slzami z vedra.

7 (CPDV) He turned the burdens away from his back. His hands had been a slave to baskets.
7 (ROH) Učinil si nás našim súsedom predmetom sváru, a naši nepriatelia sa nám smejú medzi sebou.

8 (CPDV) You called upon me in tribulation, and I freed you. I heard you within the hidden tempest. I tested you with waters of contradiction.
8 (ROH) Bože Zástupov, navráť nás a daj svietiť svojej tvári, a budeme spasení!

9 (CPDV) My people, listen and I will call you to testify. If, O Israel, you will pay heed to me,
9 (ROH) Vinič si preniesol z Egypta; zahnal si pohanov a zasadil si ho.

10 (CPDV) then there will be no new god among you, nor will you adore a foreign god.
10 (ROH) Upratal si pred ním a dal si, aby zapustil svoje korene a naplnil zem.

11 (CPDV) For I am the Lord your God, who led you out of the land of Egypt. Widen your mouth, and I will fill it.
11 (ROH) Jeho tôňa pokryla vrchy, a jeho révy narástly jako cedry silného Boha.

12 (CPDV) But my people did not hear my voice, and Israel was not attentive to me.
12 (ROH) Vyhnal svoje letorasty až k moru a svoje výhonky až k veľkej rieke.

13 (CPDV) And so, I sent them away, according to the desires of their heart. They will go forth according to their own inventions.
13 (ROH) Prečo si rozboril jeho ohrady, aby ho všetci, ktorí idú cestou, otrhávali?

14 (CPDV) If my people had heard me, if Israel had walked in my ways,

15 (CPDV) I would have humbled their enemies, as if it were nothing, and I would have sent my hand upon those who troubled them.
15 (ROH) Bože Zástupov, navráť sa, prosíme! Pohliadni z nebies a vidz a navštív tento vinič!

16 (CPDV) The enemies of the Lord have lied to him, and their time will come, in every age.
16 (ROH) Zaštíť, čo sadila tvoja pravica, i mládnik, ktorý si zmocnil pre seba.

17 (CPDV) And he fed them from the fat 328 of the grain, and he saturated them with honey from the rock.
17 (ROH) Vinič je spálený ohňom, srezaný; hynú od žehrania tvojej tvári.

18 (ROH) Nech je tvoja ruka nad mužom tvojej pravice, nad synom človeka, ktorého si zmocnil pre seba.

19 (ROH) A neuhneme zpät od teba, obživ nás, a budeme vzývať tvoje meno.

20 ----
20 (ROH) Hospodine, Bože Zástupov, navráť nás! Daj svietiť svojej tvári a budeme spasení!
