Ž 71, 1-24

1 (UKJV) In you, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.
1 (ROH) K tebe, Hospodine, sa utiekam. Nech sa nemusím hanbiť na veky!

2 (UKJV) Deliver me in your righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline your ear unto me, and save me.
2 (ROH) Vytrhni ma vo svojej spravedlivosti a vysloboď ma! Nakloň svoje ucho ku mne a zachráň ma!

3 (UKJV) "Be you my strong habitation, unto which I may continually resort: you have given commandment to save me; for you are my rock and my fortress. "
3 (ROH) Buď mi skalou obydlia, kam by som vždycky vošiel. Rozkázal si zachrániť ma, lebo mojou skalou a mojou pevnosťou si ty.

4 (UKJV) Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.
4 (ROH) Môj Bože, vysloboď ma z ruky bezbožníka, z hrsti prevrátenca a zlostníka!

5 (UKJV) For you are my hope, O Lord GOD: you are my trust from my youth.
5 (ROH) Lebo ty si mojím očakávaním, Pane, Hospodine, mojou nádejou od mojej mladosti.

6 (UKJV) By you have I been held up from the womb: you are he that took me out of my mother's bowels: my praise shall be continually of you.
6 (ROH) Na teba sa spolieham od narodenia; ty si ten, ktorý si ma odlúčil od života mojej matky. V tebe je moja chvála neprestajne.

7 (UKJV) "I am as a wonder unto many; but you are my strong refuge. "
7 (ROH) Som ako zázrak mnohým. Ale ty si mojím silným útočišťom.

8 (UKJV) Let my mouth be filled with your praise and with your honour all the day.
8 (ROH) Nech sú moje ústa naplnené tvojou chválou, každý deň tvojou nádherou.

9 (UKJV) "Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength fails. "
9 (ROH) Neodvrhni ma v čase staroby; neopusti ma, keď zhynie moja sila.

10 (UKJV) "For mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together, "
10 (ROH) Lebo moji nepriatelia hovorili proti mne zlé, a tí, ktorí strežú moju dušu, sa spolu radili.

11 (UKJV) "Saying, God has forsaken him: persecute and take him; for there is none to deliver him. "
11 (ROH) a hovorili: Bôh ho opustil; hoňte a chyťte ho, lebo niet toho, kto by ho vytrhnul.

12 (UKJV) O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste for my help.
12 (ROH) Bože, nevzdiaľuj sa odo mňa! Môj Bože, ponáhľaj sa mi na pomoc!

13 (UKJV) "Let them be confounded and consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and dishonour that seek my hurt. "
13 (ROH) Nech sa hanbia a zhynú, ktorí útočia na moju dušu! Nech sa pokryjú hanbou a studom ako rúchom tí, ktorí hľadajú moje zlé.

14 (UKJV) But I will hope continually, and will yet praise you more and more.
14 (ROH) Ale ja budem vždycky čakať a budem pridávať ku všetkej tvojej chvále chválu.

15 (UKJV) "My mouth shall show forth your righteousness and your salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof. "
15 (ROH) Moje ústa budú rozprávať tvoju spravedlivosť, každého dňa tvoje spasenie, lebo neznám tomu počtu.

16 (UKJV) I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of your righteousness, even of your only.
16 (ROH) Prijdem v hrdinskej sile Pána Hospodina; budem pripomínať tvoju spravedlivosť, len teba samého.

17 (UKJV) O God, you have taught me from my youth: and until now have I declared your wondrous works.
17 (ROH) Bože, učil si ma od mojej mladosti, a až doteraz zvestujem tvoje divy.

18 (UKJV) "Now also when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have showed your strength unto this generation, and your power to every one that is to come. "
18 (ROH) A tak až do staroby a do šedín, ó, Bože, ma neopusti, dokiaľ neoznámim svojmu pokoleniu tvojho ramena a každému, ktoré prijde, tvojej hrdinskej sily.

19 (UKJV) Your righteousness also, O God, is very high, who have done great things: O God, who is like unto you!
19 (ROH) A tvoja spravedlivosť, ó, Bože, sahá až na výsosť. Ktože je rovný tebe, Bože, ktorý činíš také veľké veci?!

20 (UKJV) You, which have showed me great and sore troubles, shall restore life in me again, and shall bring me up again from the depths of the earth.
20 (ROH) Ty, ktorý si nám bol dal vidieť mnohé a veľké súženia a zlé veci, zase nás oživíš a zase nás vyvedieš z priepastí zeme.

21 (UKJV) You shall increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.
21 (ROH) Rozmnožíš moju veľkosť a obrátiac sa potešíš ma.

22 (UKJV) I will also praise you with the psaltery, even your truth, O my God: unto you will I sing with the harp, O you Holy One of Israel.
22 (ROH) A ja ťa tiež budem chváliť na harfe, tvoju pravdu, môj Bože! Budem ti spievať žalmy pri citare, Svätý Izraelov!

23 (UKJV) "My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto you; and my soul, which you have redeemed. "
23 (ROH) Moje rty budú plesať, lebo ti budem spievať žalmy, i moja duša, ktorú si vykúpil.

24 (UKJV) My tongue also shall talk of your righteousness all the day long: for they are confounded, for they are brought unto shame, that seek my hurt.
24 (ROH) I môj jazyk bude každý deň rozprávať o tvojej spravedlivosti, lebo sa budú hanbiť, lebo rumenieť budú tí, ktorí hľadajú moje zlé.
