2 (CPDV) Confess to the God of gods, for his mercy is eternal.
2 (ROH) ktorí stojíte v dome Hospodinovom, vo dvoroch domu nášho Boha!
3 (CPDV) Confess to the Lord of lords, for his mercy is eternal.
3 (ROH) Chváľte Hospodina, lebo je dobrý Hospodin! Spievajte jeho menu žalmy, lebo je to krásne.
4 (CPDV) He alone performs great miracles, for his mercy is eternal.
4 (ROH) Lebo Jakoba si vyvolil Hospodin, Izraela za svoje zvláštne vlastníctvo.
5 (CPDV) He made the heavens with understanding, for his mercy is eternal.
5 (ROH) Lebo ja viem, že je Hospodin veľký a náš Pán nado všetkých bohov.
6 (CPDV) He established the earth above the waters, for his mercy is eternal.
6 (ROH) Hospodin činí všetko, čo sa mu ľúbi, na nebi i na zemi, v mori a vo všetkých priepastiach,
7 (CPDV) He made the great lights, for his mercy is eternal:
7 (ROH) ktorý pôsobí to, aby vystupovaly pary od konca zeme, robí dažďu blesky a vyvodí vietor zo svojich pokladov,
8 (CPDV) the sun to rule the day, for his mercy is eternal:
8 (ROH) ktorý pobil prvorodené Egypta od človeka až do hoväda.
9 (CPDV) the moon and the stars to rule the night, for his mercy is eternal.
9 (ROH) Poslal znamenia a zázraky do tvojho stredu, Egypte, na faraona a na všetkých jeho sluhov,
10 (CPDV) He struck Egypt along with their first-born, for his mercy is eternal.

11 (CPDV) He led Israel away from their midst, for his mercy is eternal:
11 (ROH) Síchona, amorejského kráľa, a Óga, bázanského kráľa, a všetky kráľovstvá Kanaána.
12 (CPDV) with a powerful hand and an outstretched arm, for his mercy is eternal.
12 (ROH) A dal ich zem za dedičstvo, za dedičstvo Izraelovi, svojmu ľudu.
13 (CPDV) He divided the Red Sea into separate parts, for his mercy is eternal.

17 (ROH) majú uši, ale nečujú; ani nieto ducha v ich ústach.
18 (CPDV) And he has slaughtered strong kings, for his mercy is eternal:
18 (ROH) Nech sú ako ony tí, ktorí ich robia, každý, kto sa nadeje na ne.
19 (CPDV) Sihon, king of the Amorites, for his mercy is eternal:
19 (ROH) Dome Izraelov, dobrorečte Hospodinovi! Dome Áronov, dobrorečte Hospodinovi!
20 (CPDV) and Og, king of Bashan, for his mercy is eternal.
20 (ROH) Dome Léviho, dobrorečte Hospodinovi! Vy, ktorí sa bojíte Hospodina, dobrorečte Hospodinovi!
21 (CPDV) And he granted their land as an inheritance, for his mercy is eternal:
21 (ROH) Požehnaný Hospodin so Siona, ktorý prebýva v Jeruzaleme. Hallelujah!
22 (CPDV) as an inheritance for his servant Israel, for his mercy is eternal.

He alone performs great miracles, for his mercy is eternal.
Ex 19:5 - If, therefore, you will hear my voice, and you will keep my covenant, you will be to me a particular possession out of all people. For all the earth is mine.
Dt 7:6 - For you are a holy people to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you so that you would be his particular people out of all the peoples who are upon the earth.
Tít 2:14 - He gave himself for our sake, so that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and might cleanse for himself an acceptable people, pursuers of good works.

He made the great lights, for his mercy is eternal:
Jer 10:13 - At his voice, he grants a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he lifts up the clouds from the ends of the earth. He causes the lightning with the rain, and he leads forth the wind from his storehouses.
Jer 51:16 - when he utters his voice, the waters will be multiplied in the heavens. The One who lifts up the clouds 458 from the ends of the earth: he has turned lightning into rain, and he has brought forth wind from his storehouses.

Ex 12:12 - And I will cross through the land of Egypt that night, and I will strike down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from man, even to cattle. And I will bring 37 judgments against all the gods of Egypt. I am the Lord.

Z 135,4 - Izraelský ľud sa viac ráz nazýva "vlastníctvo" (Dt 7,6), vec, ktorá je zvláštnym spôsobom Pánova (Ex 19,5; Dt 14,2; 26,18).
Z 135,5 - "Že náš Boh je nad všetkými bohmi"- nanajvýš možno pripustiť, že žalmista hovorí za pohanov, akoby povedal: Pán je aj nad tými, ktorých pohania považujú za bohov (porov. Ž 97,9), ale v skutočnosti nie sú ničím (15-18).
